Whether you’re an experienced professional or a recent graduate, it always helps to be prepared.
Wipfli uses behavioral-based interviewing, meaning we ask questions to discover what your thought process is like, how you solve problems and what types of experience you have. We appreciate when you use the STAR method of answering, which is where you explain the situation, task, action and result.
When interviewing for consulting positions, we typically give our applicants a case study scenario, which helps us further understand how you would approach a real-life client situation and use innovative thinking to resolve challenges.
We want to make sure you enjoy working at Wipfli and have a high chance of success in your role. We strive to build teams that communicate well, take initiative, work great with others and embody a consultative mindset, and we look for those qualities in candidates.
It also doesn’t matter where you’re located — we’re big on leveraging technology (think Skype or video conferencing) to conduct interviews. Anything that makes the hiring process more efficient is OK in our books — and probably yours, too!
