Are You Sitting on Unrealized Capital Gains?
With over 50 million people living in economically distressed areas, the purpose of an opportunity zone is to connect low-income communities with capital investments to promote economic growth. As an investor, you can take realized capital gains and reinvest them into qualified opportunity funds (QOFs) — gaining access to three big benefits:
- Tax Deferral
- Step-Up Benefits
- No Capital Gain Tax on Appreciation
Join us on Tuesday, November 5 for a panel discussion on qualified opportunity zones. You'll get input from the accounting and legal sides, as well as hear about the experiences a fund manager had when setting up a qualified opportunity fund.
Stick around after the panel for a time of networking with fellow attendees.
Cost: Free
