Wojcinski to strengthen Wipfli’s cybersecurity services

Wipfli LLP, one of the top 20 accounting and consulting firms in the United States, recently announced that senior cybersecurity and IT risk executive Thomas Wojcinski is joining the firm to lead cybersecurity growth in the Chicago and Eastern WI markets.

Wojcinski is a multi-disciplined information technology leader who specializes in cybersecurity, IT risk management and IT governance initiatives for U.S. and multinational organizations.

“We are very excited that Tom is joining Wipfli,” said Robert Cedergren, partner in charge of Wipfli’s Risk Advisory Services practice. “His expertise and experience in delivering cyber security services to clients will further strengthen Wipfli’s cybersecurity presence in the market place.”

Before joining Wipfli, Wojcinski was a Baker Tilly principal, who oversaw the firm’s cybersecurity and IT risk advisory services.

Wojcinski has a bachelor’s in science in business administration from Marquette University where he was a double major in finance and information technology.

He brings more than 20 years of experience to Wipfli and holds the following professional certifications and affiliations:

• Certified in Risk and Information Systems and Control (CRISC)
• Certificate of Cloud Security Knowledge (CCSK)
• Member of Information Systems Audit and Control Association

Wojcinski will join Wipfli’s cybersecurity team in Wipfli’s Milwaukee office.
