Gearing up for Farm Technology Days 2021

Wisconsin Farm Technology Days, the biggest ag show in Wisconsin, is gearing up to open July 20-22, 2021 in Eau Claire.

Last year’s event had to be canceled because of the pandemic, and there are many people working hard to ensure that safety protocols are in place to hold the show this year.

I’m excited that this year’s show is right here in my hometown of Eau Claire. Innovation Square will feature not only the host family farm, Hunstinger Farms and Silver Spring Foods, but will also include a diverse array of Chippewa Valley farms, including Chippewa Valley Bean Co., Inc., Marieke Gouda and Ferguson’s Orchards.

The show typically draws around 500 exhibitors and showcases the latest improvements and innovations in production agriculture. There are activities for lots of different interests, including a family living tent, a youth tent, heritage tractor and machinery display, as well as displays for home, yard and garden. Local singer/songwriter Chris Kroeze, runner up on The Voice, will also be performing daily.

No ag show would be complete without food — there’s a wide array of farm-to-table menu items to enjoy. Horseradish fans will really appreciate the show this year because Huntsinger Farms is the largest producer of horseradish in the world. Continuous learning

As a Dairy Diamond Sponsor of Wisconsin Farm Technology Days 2021, Wipfli will be presenting seminars each day of the event, geared toward showing the ag community how they can leverage strategic tax and financial advice as well as technology to grow and improve their operations.

At Wipfli, we foster a culture of continuous learning, and we look forward to learning as much from others as they do from us. Our ag industry professionals are excited for the opportunity to visit with attendees, vendors, and others in the industry.

We hope that you are able to join us at Wisconsin Farm Technology Days to learn what Wisconsin ag is all about! Wisconsin contributes a lot to the ag industry, and we’re proud to showcase that. This show is a great opportunity not only for those in the industry but also for those who aren’t to come and learn about ag in a fun way — there’s something for everyone. This show will help you learn where the ag industry is going, and what’s being produced in Wisconsin.
