Thank you to everyone who made it to Wisconsin Farm Technology Days 2021 at Huntsinger Farms. It was a great show filled with activities and information. Over 1,500 volunteers put on a show for 52,000 visitors — and I know the WFTD board was very pleased with that attendance.
We enjoyed the opportunity to visit with attendees at our booth and at the educational sessions. I especially enjoyed speaking with people about how Wipfli helps producers implement and use the Conservis data management platform, as well as giving a presentation on one of the hardest topics in agriculture: business transition.
Congratulations to Stacy Schaefer, winner of our booth prize: a football signed by Preston Smith of the Green Bay Packers. Congratulations as well to Ali Holub, winner of our two tickets to the September 20th game, Packers vs. Lions! Thank you for visiting our booth and attending the sessions.
I’d be remiss if I didn’t express our thanks to the host farm, Huntsinger Farms, for taking part in our Conservis session. Huntsinger Farms’ Assistant Farm Manager Kyle Bechel explained what the Conservis platform has done for their farm. He provided a lot of good insight from a producer’s perspective.
One highlight he shared was that Conservis allowed him to do one task in five minutes that used to take two weeks to do with the old process of spreadsheets. With Conservis, Huntsinger Farms has been able to keep better track of where farm employees are working and what they are supposed to be doing on any given day, and it has helped them keep better track of their inventory.
For more information about the Conservis platform, please reach out to me or your Wipfli Relationship Executive.
