Webinar: EHS-CCP Monitoring Protocol
2/27/2018 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM (CT)
Advanced Preparation: None
Level: Basic
Prerequisite: None
Field of Study: Specialized Knowledge
CPE*: 1.0 credit
DESCRIPTION
The Office of Head Start (OHS) issued three monitoring protocols for FY2017, one of which is the Early Head Start-Child Care Partnership (EHS-CCP) Monitoring Protocol. This session will address the grant monitoring timeline when you would be subject to comprehensive versus differential monitoring and an in-depth review of what is in the EHS-CCP protocol. Even if you are not due for a monitoring visit, this is still a valuable document because every EHS program is required to self-monitor in order to maintain sound management.
Learning Objectives:
- Identify the key performance areas in the protocol.
- Review the stated goals of the review.
- Review how to use the protocol to improve operations.
- Receive tips on preparing for the monitor’s questions.
