Wipfli is pleased to announce Carrie Connell has been promoted to the position of partner.

“We are beyond excited to welcome Carrie to the partnership,” said Phil Moore, Wipfli's Southeast U.S. market leader. “From the time she joined us as an intern, she has been a true team player, from fulfilling various roles from recruiting and mentoring, to complex technical work and building strong client relationships.”
“Her deep experience in risk advisory services and commitment to client service, as well as her strong leadership and interpersonal skills, will add immeasurable value to our firm and our financial services practice for years to come," he said.

She also has experience helping financial institutions develop risk assessment tools.
Connell also works closely with financial institution clients of all sizes, in a wide variety of markets. She has helped newly chartered financial institutions become fully operational companies, and administered and performed Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 and FDICIA compliance for multi-billion dollar institutions.
Connell donates her time to various organizations such as the Georgia Society of CPAs, the Georgia Bankers Association, Georgia Credit Union Affiliates and more. Within the firm, she has also helped with internal training programs and college recruiting efforts.
