New functionality for Dynamics GP 2016 allows adding Power BI reports to a user’s homepage. See image 1 for screen shots of some sample reports added to a GP user’s homepage. This feature displays reports similar to how SSRS charts and KPI’s can be displayed on the homepage.
The following pre-requisite must be met in order to use Power BI in Dynamics GP
- User has access to Power BI and at least one report has been created
- User is able to log into the Power BI site and view a report (the report has been published)
- User is using GP 2016 desktop client
