Craig Cookle leads the firm’s state and local tax practice. He brings more than 35 years of state and local tax experience to his clients. His knowledge and experience enable him to consistently provide value to his clients in terms of state and local tax savings and efficient resolution of tax issues. Craig spends his time managing the state and local tax (SALT) practice and as a relationship executive on client accounts.
The SALT group assists clients with audit defense, sales and use tax overpayment reviews, nexus studies, voluntary disclosures, sales tax compliance assistance, personal property tax reviews and general sales tax and state income/franchise tax consulting.
Craig strives to maintain close and lasting relationships with his clients by listening attentively to their needs and providing them with timely and creative responses to their questions and issues. Clients appreciate his proactive assistance in helping them resolve multistate tax situations.
